(((((((JOEL)))))))) I will love you forever too. Thank you a million times over and CONGRATULATIONS for the creation and staying power of this site that has brought so much joy and much needed info of our beloved JT into our once sorry lives. (speaking for myself!)
Gosh, I was there in those first days you went public, looking at those messages – in funny looking type on black, trying to learn from our IT special person who found the site for me, how to use and read your site from my huge now lumbersome computer. And oh JOY when you refined and refined and more people showed up. Remember our first face to face meeting at your place in Santa Monica – PICO street? It was our first online party – you hooked up a camera tied it into your site and we visited with others across the globe sharing JT stories! WOW… I remember then, thinking what an amazing thing!
This site has been truly special over the 25 years and it has brought great happiness and healing to many, along with all the needed info on everything JT. Even through all the nasty troll activities and nasty hacks…JTO prevailed! THANK YOU, again and again.
TeeTeeParticipantHah! Busted! rkiel512 these old eyes missed that tiny vertical stroke at the bottom of the I. You’re so right – it was funny while JT incsription lasted in my eye.
So how about this one that Helen found on Monday’s NYT Crossword Puzzle – Hint:Singer Brown + Singer Swift = Singer_Attachments:
You must be logged in to view attached files.TeeParticipantHow very lucky for you FF. So how did the night go with JT and the Eagles. I’ve been out of the country and haven’t seen any reviews. Hope you share yours.
TeeParticipantSo sorry to miss Tanglewood this yearBut I most definitely would’ve come to listen to you cover JT.
How was your experience at the Tanglewood concert Ree. Get a good view of his guitar fingering?TeeParticipantBonnie Raitt will be back for the 2nd leg of tour. We’ll miss her too. Heal fast and well beautiful talented woman! In response to Family Man – on the nights that Bonnie or Sheryl Crow isn’t performing with James Taylor – he and his band will play two sets making up for the missing first set when he doesn’t have someone else doing it. So for us fans, that really is a bonus to get James and his band for the whole evening in both sets. I don’t see any difference in prices from past JT shows – his performances are worth every penny. My two bits…
TeeParticipantBig boo boo and red face ooops and apologies to Author Norman Doidge (not Ivan Doidge) “The Brain’s way of Healing Itself”
For some reason I can’t go back into my thread and correct the mistake!
_TeeTeeParticipantLOVE IT – JAMES TAYLOR, IN ITALIAN – beautiful language! singing “La Donna e Mobile” with the Orchestra. And the next link is “You’ve Got a Friend” Duet with Giorgia brought tears to my eyes. Gorgeous sounds this morning. Thank you Eric for finding this – made my day.
TeeParticipantHey JusTom and Roo. I was there with (a very excited and somewhat nervous) Roo when you first met – SWEET and honored to have witnessed the beginnings and blooming of your love!! Then you both disappeared for awhile and it was a great delight to run into you again at the first JT and Bonnie Raitt concert (Fenway) several years ago and you both look not a day older than when I first met you. Keep up whatever good living/loving you doing.
BTW all – I got horror shivers everytime I signed on and there was my mug shot – in your face kinda thing – even though it was a lovely picture with James Taylor! So I changed it to a more gentle non type of image. phew!TeeParticipantAWESOME venues listed for Italy. Hey Erik thanks for the band listing you found for Italy. Looks like Kevin Hayes is the Keyboard? No Larry Goldings? I wonder if this will be the same band lineup for the US shows.
I just watched an Italian radio interview posted by Sam L. on his site. Its great to see our hero again – even on screen.
Liz and Steve I will be so sore at not being there in Italy!! Good luck/JT Synchronicity for your Italian dream road trip!! Those venues are Fantastic!
Erik I hope you and girlfriend can make it to Italy – so romantic those venues – I’m such a sap for them outdoors venue in Ancient historical sites!
Here a link below for Italian Radio show – thanks to Sam L. Hope it works.

LIZ, great to see you surfacing here again. I can still see you and Steve’s smiling faces from the last UK/Euro Tour JT and the Band did. Long time since. How wonderful and amazing that Steve’s choice of vacation ended up having two James Taylor concerts attached so easily and smoothly. Long ago here on JTO a young and major JT fan coined a phrase to describe this type of great good luck – “JT Synchronicity” That sums it up for Steve and you this go round. Enjoy your USA vacation safely and wonderfully and most of all have a fantastic time at the concerts and be sure to share with those of us not able to attend this year.
My JT walking shoes have been twarted a bit this year, not because I’ve replaced them with golfing shoes but due to family responsibilities – mostly dealing and caring for an ill mom. BUT, I will do my utmost to go to at least ONE concert this year. So, hoping for many great and wonderful reports from those of you who want to share your experience out of generosity of heart for the many great fans who can’t make it to his shows this year.
Stay well y’all and get yourselves to a JT and BR show, JT, BR and Eagles show, JT, BR and PS show coming near you. 🙂 -
