Old story. I personally started a topic here about “new material” and “too long waiting” more than twenty years ago, and the lively discussions that followed here didn’t take too many good roads. And after all these years here we are again. We all know that poetic and melodic inspiration isn’t fired simply pressing a button, and we all know that aging isn’t often a solid stepping stone like in our youth. But… as someone before me wrote here in this topic – especially in these troubling hard times – we shall enjoy all just a new song, maybe a new album sometime in a near future, any news of new projects from our dearest minstrel friend. And we all know he knows too. Let’s keep on waitin’.

What a sad news. I’m so sorry and touched.
I remember very, very well our cheerful dear Barb. She’s been a great point of view, always super-informed about JT, and a solid lighthouse here. I was born the 4th of July, 1956, and I read only now that she was born just three weeks before me, so faraway from my hometown here in Italy. Always loved her posts, even when I found her too much sure of her own opinions, or I disagree with her stronger ones. I shall remember and miss her forever.
Live again in joyful peace up there, sister.

Hi everybody. I’m Fabrizio, from Italy. No nickname at all, only my true christian name. Perhaps someone still remember me, but I shan’t swear on it. It really was a very good period that one (especially from 1995 to 2002), with lots of lively discussions and genuine passion. Due to our age, I suspect it will never come back. But they say hope is always the the last one to die. So, “here I am again Holiday Inn…” (still playing guitar and singin’).
Greetings to all of you from this “so faraway”.
