Touring in 2020 – is this fact or fantasy? UK tour? Can we dare to hope? Fingers crossed in Bonnie Scotland …
We have a few members in the new Facebook group but we need more, please join – especially if you have tickets for the July concerts!
Not much of a buzz in here re the upcoming UK tour. Would folks be interested in joining a Facebook group? I’ve set one up in name, feel free to join if you’re in the UK and we can whip up some excitement before July!
Hi Lee nice story. Such a shame that you won’t manage to the concert. Ticket prices across the board tend to be high these days. I am determined to get to this tour because it might be the last chance I’ll get to see him just one more time. I’ve been lucky enough to see him several times over the years with my late husband. Last UK tour I didn’t bother trying to get tickets as I don’t really know anyone else that is into James, then I felt really sorry that I didn’t try harder to make it happen. Hence why I’m going for it big time to see him in July – got my tickets booked, now I just need to find a willing volunteer to come along with me!
Yippeeee thanks Erik! I was hoping for Edinburgh but Glasgow is the next best thing, I will find a way to get there somehow. I am officially a happy bunny 🙂
Those free days in July are dwindling away and still no word for those of us hoping to catch up with James in the UK this year. Will today be the day we get the news we’ve been waiting for? Hope so!
I see that new dates have been announced for the Paul Simon Farewell Tour in July – Manchester, Glasgow, Dublin. Only the Dublin and Hyde Park shows however appear to have JT and Bonnie Raitt guesting. The plot thickens!
From the tour details page on here it appears that there’s a gap between 4th July at Tanglewood and Hyde Park on the 15th, then another gap between then and the first date of the Eagles tour on the 26th so there’s scope in there for a few UK dates (fingers crossed).
