Hi, all! So nice to read the reviews. Gosh, I love Bonnie and JT. Ree, with your description of intimacy in a 15,000-20,000 seat arena, you’ve just about convinced me they could pull that off as the debut performers at the massive Ford Center in Dallas (Frisco) on 31 July. I’ll be interested to hear how it goes. I’ve never liked indoor arena shows or baseball parks for JT or anyone except Bruce Springsteen. 🙂

Hi Ree, Yes, most of those would’ve been great performers to honor either JT or the Eagles. Bonnie Raitt was there and, although her tribute was for Mavis Staples she also said some great things about JT.
It should be a great broadcast. I like all of the honorees. Happy Holidays to you and everyone at JTO!
