I’m working on a set of more obscure JT songs that I will play live. I’m searching for background on the meaning of songs (from JT’s perspective) so I can share that with my audience. Can anyone help me with “Brighten My Day With My Night”?
It was first released in 1967, and it’s “Brighten Your Night With My Day”, if that helps in your search. Have you checked the book for an explanation? I think this early on, James didn’t have the life experience to go beyond a simple bit of reassurance he might have given someone after sunset. But maybe I’m wrong!
