“No Nukes” Video

After a lengthy out-of-print period, the “No Nukes” concert movie is now available from Amazon.com in VHS format (no DVD yet). The 1979 MUSE (Musicians United for Safe Energy) concerts featured JT, Carly Simon, Jackson Browne, Crosby Still & Nash, the Doobie Brothers, Bonnie Raitt, Bruce Springsteen, and others in a hugely popular 5-night engagement at New York’s Madison Square Garden. An excellent double-CD recording is also available.


Order “Songs From the Street”

JT’s “Jelly Man Kelly” is included on a new 3-CD Sesame Street box set called “Songs From the Street.” The collection is now available for ordering from Amazon.com and will ship on September 2. Other artists on the collection include Billy Joel, Paul Simon, Pete Seeger, Stevie Wonder, Johnny Cash, B.B. King, Ziggy Marley, Tony Bennett, Melissa Etheridge, NSYNC, and quite a few more.


“October Road” Limited Edition

JT’s upcoming all-new album, “October Road,” will also be sold as a limited edition which comes with a second CD containing three bonus tracks. The additional tracks (all previously released on other albums) are “Don’t Let Me Be Lonely Tonight,” from Michael Brecker’s “The Nearness of You,” “Benjamin” from “Appalachian Journey,” and “Sailing To Philadelphia,” from Mark Knopfler’s album of the same name. When viewed on a computer, the bonus CD also contains interview footage and studio footage shot during the recording of the album. Billboard Editor In Chief Timothy White’s excellent JT biography, James Taylor Long Ago And Far Away is now available in a newly revised paperback edition.
