JT will perform and be honored as the 2006 MusiCares Person of the Year on February 6 in Los Angeles. Bruce Springsteen, the Dixie Chicks, Paul Simon, Sting, India Arie, Jackson Browne, David Crosby, Dr. John, Carole King, Alison Krauss, Taj Mahal, Randy Newman and Bonnie Raitt are also scheduled to perform. It’s unknown if any of the gala’s performances will be included in the Grammy awards telecast February 8 at 8 p.m. Eastern on CBS.
