JT will join Elvis Costello, Prince, Bjork, Sarah McLachlan, Annie Lennox, and kd lang on the CD “A Tribute To Joni Mitchell” to be released by Nonesuch Records on April 10. JT will make a guest appearance at a September 9 Tony Bennett concert at New York’s Radio City Music Hall. JT performed on a duet of “Put On a Happy Face” for Bennett’s 2006 “Duets An American Classic” album.

JT will perform two public shows at the Colonial Theater in Pittsfield, MA to be filmed for DVD and aired on TV. The concerts will be July 19 & 20 and will go on sale July 2. See the Tour page for ticket details and the Berkshire Eagle for a lengthy article on JT’s plans.

Just a reminder that the “Gershwin Prize for Popular Song” ceremony will air Wednesday, June 27 at 9 p.m. on most PBS television stations (check your local listings). The star-studded event was held May 23 to honor Paul Simon and includes appearances by JT, Yolanda Adams, Marc Anthony, Dixie Hummingbirds, Jerry Douglas, Art Garfunkel, Alison Krauss, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Lyle Lovett, Stephen Marley, and Buckwheat Zydeco.

JT will perform June 30 on “A Prairie Home Companion At Tanglewood with Garrison Keillor.” The show will air live on NPR radio stations (6 p.m. Eastern, 3 p.m. Pacific) and can also be heard online.
