JT’s 1971 performance of “Sweet Baby James” on the “Johnny Cash Show” is included on a new two-disc DVD collection of musical performances called “The Johnny Cash Show The Best of Johnny Cash 1969-1971.” The collection is available to order now and will be released on September 18.
The first dates of a full-band western U.S. tour have been announced. Dates in Billings, Spokane, and Sacramento are now confirmed and more are expected in the coming days. See the Tour page for details and watch for frequent updates.
JT has joined other environmentalists in speaking out against the U.S. Navy’s use of mid-range sonar in whale habitats. See the Natural Resources Defense Council site for details on the campaign.
