JT will join John Mellencamp, Don Henley, Sheryl Crow, and Sting in Boston’s Fleet Center on October 7 for the first of two concerts benefiting the family of Billboard Editor In Chief Timothy White. JT has committed to performing for a benefit concert in honor of Timothy White, former editor in chief of Billboard magazine and author of the biography James Taylor Long Ago And Far Away. Sheryl Crow, John Mellencamp, and Don Henley have also signed up for perform at the concert, though a date for the show hasn’t been finalized. See billboard.com for details.

The October 20 “Concert For New York” benefit concert is now shipping on VHS and DVD. Originally a six-hour live broadcast, the show is now available as a 2-disc DVD set and a 2-tape VHS set in addition to the previously released 2-disc CD set. JT performed “Up On the Roof” and “Fire And Rain” at the concert.
